A 24-hour support line, manned by volunteers, to give information and emotional support to families experiencing the loss of an infant due to the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or any other sudden or unexplained cause. The phone number is (780) 487-SIDS (780-487-7437)
Monthly (except in July and August) group support meetings of parents, siblings, and other relatives who have experienced the death of an infant. Meetings are held at the 9720 - 135 Avenue on the first Tuesday of each month, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Please call 780-487-7437 to confirm your attendance.
Distributes information provided by the Foundation on matters pertaining to SIDS, grief, reducing the risk of SIDS, and providing emotional support to bereaved families.
Raises funds for research into the cause(s) and means to prevent SIDS.
Carries out a program of public awareness by providing speakers and display booth to public meetings, classrooms, and fundraising events.
